Capa returns with EP1 release here in early 2017 on Lemongrass Music. The Capa journey continues – staying true to his musical message Vidar has created another outstanding, contemporary, sometimes edgy 5 tracks music album. Compared with his earlier releases Capa has worked with vocals in a more traditional way. Three of the tracks are quite verse-chorus based songs with an approach to combine his unique Capa style with pop music. This is also reflected in the lyrics evolving around the existential foundation in life.
Capa is producer Vidar Nord from Norway having released 3 albums during the years 2012-2015. Now he comes up with a remix album derived from all 3 albums.
He had his babies raised by new parents like Eskadet and Charly’n Black from France, Lemograss, Five Seasons and Houie D. from Germany and some others.
The outcome is a very spacy journey through the orbit and back – full of wideness and futuristic elements.
Fasten your seat-belts, lean back…. ignition !
CAPA is Norwegian producer Vidar Nord, now presenting his third album "Epiphany“. Compared to the predecessors this new album has a more electronic feel to it. Vidar has loved experimenting with deep electric percussive elements and evolving pad&voice-structures. Still the sound is in the good old CAPA spirit - with an analog feel and twisted vocals. Still striving to give soul and a good portion of diversity to synthetic music.
The album takes us from the unceremonious "Bird; fly" to the core of CAPA’s "People&Places" and then to the experimental "One Bird" and "Untroubled". Each track creates an entire universe around...
With the beautiful voices from Futureanalysis the track "Epiphany" took form in a new melodic direction, a track combining both classic and electronic feel. Vidar acknowledges that the prossess of making this album has been real fun and inspiring to him. It has opened further dimensions in his music-making. And he is eagerly looking forward to the continuation of this process.
